Delicately flavored, this easy Almond-Poppy Seed Noodles side dish recipe cooks up quickly using ingredients that have a long shelf life.

¼ cup butter
½ cup slivered blanched almonds
1 tablespoon paprika
1 tablespoon poppy seeds, crushed
1 8-ounce package wide egg noodles, cooked and drained

Melt half of the butter; add almonds and cook until golden brown. Add remaining butter, paprika and poppy seeds.

Toss the butter mix with hot noodles until well coated.
